standard daytime walk in the neighborhood

I finally found that secret emergency cigarette spot
that everyone is always talking about

if I ever start smoking, I'll remember to come by here

then, I ran into this.. take a toy

YES!!

I couldn't decide which one to take..
I ended up leaving all of them

someone else needs those toys more than I do

I decided to go down the "zombie route" part of the neighborhood

it's a road that runs right in between two graveyards
this was a daytime walk, so it wasn't a big deal

I've only walked the zombie route a couple times at night

I mean... seriously.. look at that chain link fence
zombies can get through that in a second and the graveyard
on the other side doesn't even have a fence.

I finished off the walk by going through a bunch of streets
that were blocked off by police cars.
helicopters and cop cars everywhere

apparently, someone spotted a person that is on
the list of the ten most wanted people in Washington
and the police were locking down the neighborhood
around Lowell Elementary

note to self:
when doing something simple
(like going to the store to get laundry detergent)
make sure to take the long route
that's where all the magic is

good times!

well, look at that! remember those mirrored sliding doors that you always wanted..

someone (obviously insane) decided that they didn't want their
sweet-ass doors anymore and put them out on the corner.

head on down to 19th and Highland Avenue
pick these babies up and spruce up the house

..and while you're down there, feel free to grab this incredible,
hand-crafted windshield cozy

just in time for the holiday season!

19th just gives and gives!

thank you, 19th avenue!

"we got a man down, dude" -Walter Sobchak

last night, I walked across a frozen field.. then, onto a parking lot
the first step I took.. I thought "whoah, is this all frozen over?..."

BOOM!
I full blown slipped and landed right on my ass and my bag.
I popped back up to my feet, completely unscathed
(I have to thank being a skateboarder for not getting hurt.
I instinctually know how to take a slam, most of the time)

I started hearing liquid hitting the ground.. it was a ruptured beer.
I had a sampler trio in my bag that consisted of very fine beers

*rolling rock
*pabst blue ribbon
*rainier

The PBR was taken out, fallen soldier. I got it out of my bag
as quick as possible and left it in the parking lot.

The other two beers had considerable damage,
but thankfully, both pulled through

(photo evidence of beer can damage)
