lunchtime!

A couple days ago, I went to Arby's with my buddy Derek.
We got the five roast beef sandwiches for five dollars deal.

We each had one left over when we left, I put mine into the pocket of my hoodie.

A weird daydream passed through my head as we walked to my car.

Not that I would ever wish to be in a bad car wreck...
but, I was thinking

1. bad car wreck happens

2. paramedics show up, get the Jaws of life and have to drag me and Derek out of the mangled car.
(dramatic scene)

3. one of the paramedics notices the roast beef sandwich in my hoodie pocket, grabs it and eats it.. he skipped lunch that day.

I ran this situation past some people..
about half thought it was funny.

road rage

get the urge to flip someone off in traffic?

don't do it..

give them a smile and a thumbs up.. it works so much better.
people expect to get flipped off.. don't give them what they want.

a smile and a thumbs up gets people instantly more pissed..

try it, it's fun!

flipping people off= out

(I was in West Seattle this weekend and I used the "thumbs up" a couple times in traffic... two older ladies drove away shaking their heads.. I caught up to them at a light and gave them a "have a nice day!" which made it even more entertaining)

moths take their dates out to thee most expensive restaurants, they want the best!

My buddy Steve was telling me today how a bunch of his expensive clothes had been eaten by moths.
He said his Armani suit had been completely ravished by them.

This is the equation I came up with.

Human couples go out to eat at expensive, fancy restaurants.

Moth couples go out to eat in your closet and have your suit for dinner.

good times!

Steve may have been pissed that his suit got eaten, but at the same time a couple moths had a great date.

What is really important?

Moths have to have a social life too.

my shower= the frozen abyss

the hot water has been off at my apartment complex for a couple days..
I'm living like the penguins every time I take a shower.

It's freezing, but it's kind of fun and it wakes me up quick.


It's a cold, cold world on the other side of that shower curtain.
I had to take a cup of coffee in with me this morning to keep warm.
