kool aid is medicinal?

I've been dealing with a little, nagging sickness for a couple days.. tonight, the sore throat keep getting in my face and challenging me.. I HAD IT!! I went over to Safeway to get some cough drops and syrup... and what do I see in the medicine aisle.. KOOL AID!! I had no idea the medicinal value of Kool Aid. I learn something new every day, good times!
