haunted doll parts.... FREE!

today when I was walking around
I found a whole shopping cart full of discarded haunted doll parts
FREE!!

if you feel like life is just a little bit boring right now
swing on by and grab a haunted doll

haunted dolls hellbent on vengeance are the perfect solution
to boredom, they'll make your walls bleed and fun stuff like that

good times!

go grab some before someone comes along and throws holy water
on all of them and gets rid of the evil spirits

using a measuring tape = accuracy!

usually when I hang a show anywhere I just "wing it"
and put stuff up wherever and it always works out

earlier this week I hung a show that is hung by wire from
above, no nails in the walls. I've hung shows like that in the past..
it's always kind of a challenge

this lil measuring tape made it super easy

it's just common sense that eluded me on this one
of course the measuring tape would make it easy

I was just so used to doing my way.. I never even thought about
hanging a show with this awesome little helping hand

thank you so much lil measuring tape!!
you made the set up of that show perfect and easy!

(the solution to every challenge in my life always ends up
being right in front of my face, good times!)

this year's newest #1 summer pastime

I was at the lake today and saw a guy really far out in the water
swimming laps

I came up with a set up for a situation like this
(entertainment purposes only)

#1 get a radio controlled motor boat

#2 get a corn dog and tie it to the front
(the corn dog can be substituted for other foodstuffs,
like a slice of pizza, a burrito or some delicious nachos)

#3 find someone in a lake swimming

#4 get that contraption into the water and out to your
swimming victim

#5 once the boat is in close proximity to your target,
engage a circle pattern around the swimmer..
make sure to keep the boat just out of reach

#6 sit back, relax, and laugh

#7 mission accomplished
pat yourself on the back

(I drew a harbor seal to substitute for a person,
I don't condone the teasing of sea life..
harbor seals are just really easy to draw compared to humans)

HONEST

Honest is a mixed media painting on canvas
30 inches wide by 55 inches tall

wired on the back and ready to hang

$250.00
(Seattle area only, so I can deliver it)

this painting will come with a smaller surprise painting
that will really tie the room together

email me at starheadboy@yahoo.com
good times!

uh oh...

I was walking up Madison today and was amazed to see this
flatbed semi carrying a bunch of pallets try to make a right
turn onto a residential street.

I just stood there for a couple minutes watching

in my head a mix of thoughts and emotions
*empathy for the driver's situation.
*secretly wanting him to take out the telephone pole.
*wondering how he was going to navigate all the roundabouts
in the neighborhood he heading into.
*feeling pretty secure that the driver was trained to deal with
this type of situation.. but, still not wanting to walk around the
back of the truck and accidentally get backed over.

I finally walked around and kept going on my little journey
secure with the idea in my head
"those pallets will get where they're going"
