caring neighbors

there are so many selfless and caring people in my neighborhood

I was walking around today and I stumbled upon this bottle
of mouthwash... set out by an incredibly thoughtful person

this magic liquid protects the health of your teeth
and provides crispy, fresh breath
whoever set it out knows this

a very, very kind gesture indeed

I only had to walk about three blocks before another shining example
of kindness.. a canoe!

it was sprinkling out and you never know what could happen

if tenth avenue flooded.. this little canoe would save a life or two

incredible forethought and a purely selfless gift

I feel really lucky to live where I do

to all my thoughtful neighbors
thank you for all the kindness

Saturday solo paint session at Madison Park

I sat on the steps right down by the water for a couple hours today

these little paintings were finished while dodging small rogue waves
and low flying crows, good times!

Retrofit Home (June)

Retrofit Home is doing an animal theme show this month
Narboo and I both have work up

... and it's all at RECESSION BUSTING PRICES!!!
(I stole that term from a gang of business retail kids that have been
running around my neighborhood. they've been throwing gang signs
and shout outs around like this a lot lately
