burrito unicorn instruction manual (the book, process)
I've been a hermit all week working on this book.
I painted around 26 small paintings for it..
only to realize when I started scanning them,
they were all the wrong size.
good times!! it was a blessing in disguise,
lots more material came out of it and a new format.
I'm super stoked on how it's coming along and seriously obsessed with getting it done.
I have a couple more 24-hour days of working on it,
I will have it available on blurb.com soon.
YAYER!!

a gentle reminder to cherish every moment..
today, I was out on my morning run...
my mind was wandering around, thinking.. worrying.
I came down this super calm street, still consumed with thoughts..
trying to turn them off and be in the present moment.
a parallel parked car from across the street, burned out and skreetched across the street in reverse..
from a dead stop.. to instantly pedal to the floor.
it came right at me in reverse, destroyed a tree.. smashing the tree onto the sidewalk about a foot behind me.
I could feel the branches from the tree as it came down, it was close.
the car was stuck kind of upright on the stump part of the tree.
it looked like something out of a movie..
it felt like something out of a movie
I kept running and got out of there.. it shocked the hell out of me.
all my thoughts were gone, no more worries.
I feel really thankful to have avoided that one.
